I feel like he’s really onto something about real work, but he’s missing the point of society. The purpose of our economy is to employ everyone, thus minimizing the negative societal effects of supporting unemployed people, and enabling people to improve their lives. If you optimize a society to produce more GDP by firing people, you’re subtracting value, not adding it.
First and third ones were much better IMO. First one especially, I kept thinking to myself “Riddick could probably save everyone here if he wants, but he kinda just doesn’t care enough to save anyone but himself”. Not 100% sure if that was the director’s intended interpretation, but it’s a very scary movie when you think of the other characters as the main character and want them to survive.
The tutorial for Hollow Knight: Silksong was definitely super long. Took me about 50 hours to get 100%, and a lot more to master it, and I still struggled when I played the main game of Silksong. I didn’t mind the extra long tutorial though, it was extremely well made.
If you killed patient 0, then it wasn’t a world ending disease either.
