Starch. This limits what I can eat. Unfortunately I didn’t know this growing up, so I ate a pretty carb heavy diet which caused health issues which caused me to be grouchy a lot. Took until I nearly 40 to figure out that I wasn’t just an unstable asshole.
If you use Windows, I highly recommend trying Mobaxterm.

Ungoogled Chromium exists. I wonder if it’d possible to do a version of Chomium that has the benefits of Edge without the downsides.
I realize MS would still be tracking, but it’d be all work stuff, so I’m less concerned about it.

I use Edge for work and Firefox for personal. The o365 integration is nice.
Not as long form as they usually max out around an hour. Good enough for walking dogs.
New Rock Stars.
Dark Net Diaries.
Star Talk.
Beyond Trust has a podcost interviewing tech people.
Their episode about Y2K hooked me.

It made everything clear back when everything was hand written or done on a type writer. This mattered as paper wasn’t infinite.
Much of modern communication is done in bubbles on screens, so the punctuation doesnt matter as much as it used to.
That said, run-on sentences and word salad are quite common which makes for some entertaining yet stroke inducing screenshots.
The so-called “rules” of language arent actually rules. They are observations. Language use has greatly evolved over time, and schools teach the rules as they know them, forgetting that even a hundred years ago, it was different.

I got Mobaxterm. Does the job and doesn’t need to be natt’d.

Had this conversation with my boss yesterday. They cant use Azure mdm with Linux it’s a no go.

Not everyone thinks “society” is a goal.

You are assuming you will still have a job, or that US dollars will still have value.

People who pleaded guilty need to plead the fifth.

Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future.

Mcdonalds has Pizza now?

This isnt an example of “defeating the purpose”. This is something that might be considered pointless, like making your bed when you’ll just sleep in it again later.
Defeating the purpose would be writing the password to your computer on a sticky note and putting it where anyone can see it.
Or just disable the cell modem.

Dont forget the trail of tears.
The US has been through a lot and will likely recover, but it would be nice to avoid making the same mistakes again. How many more people have to get hurt before humanity learns?
If you like puzzle games I suggest trying portal. Portal 1 is inexpensive on Steam and playable on any modern PC including on Linux. It’s low pressure, has some humor, not very violent, and you can restart from anywhere you like.

What do you use to backup?
Boring perhaps, but just get up and leave.
