Honestly knowing I have active users makes me feel less burnout. Since I don’t track user engagement, sometimes I wonder if people are still enjoying Blorp. A review, comment, or star on GitHub goes a long way.

I don’t mind nitpicky, but I appreciate labeling this as nice to have rather than a must. I’ll see what I can do, thanks!
This is fixed, but I haven’t released the update yet. The fix will go out in version 1.10.2. I’ll try and get that out in a week or so.

I added it on the more recent side. Thanks for trying Blorp!

Compact view mode like this?
Source: I’m Blorp dev
Multi communities are coming to Lemmy V1 and already exist in PieFed as feeds. But I don’t think communities opt into those.
Try the “Extra Compact” setting

Blorp dev here. It doesn’t. I totally understand that many Lemmy communities can feel too quiet, but I never fully understood the consolidating comments thing. I believe Lemmy and PieFed both associate posts based on url, not post body, title, etc. Only the url has to match.
Now imagine you had a conservative community and a liberal community, and they both shared the same news article. However, one community was expressing support for the article while the other was expressing disapproval. Then in the comments, people were saying “I agree with this take”. How would you know if they were agreeing with the conservative or liberal community’s perspective of the article?
Blorp dev here. We’d love to have you! Let me know if there is anything preventing you from switching that I can improve.
Everything’s computer iOS
I think that’s actually part of the reason they are doing Liquid Glass. Everything looks like iOS in its current state. Supposedly the compute required to calculate the light refractions in iOS 26 will make it more difficult to copy. This is not an endorsement of Liquid Glass. Just what I’ve heard… though personally I don’t dislike it.
Blorp dev here. Looks like it might be an instance thing. On PieFed.social I’m seeing the article, but on Lemmy.zip I’m only seeing an image. PieFed.social is returning separate urls for post url and post thumbnail, but Lemmy.zip returns the same image url for post url and post thumbnail. I’m not sure if it’s a PieFed/Lemmy issue or just happens to be that the two instances I tested are working that way.
