With no flags when I open chrome://gpu everything seems fine but when I start my browser (cromite) with the --ozone-platform-hint=wayland flag everything over at chrome://gpu gets disabled which got me wondering if wayland backend + hwaccel is possible at all

I haven’t been able to get it to accelerate in any environment. The status might show green in
chrome://gpubut when I actually check in debug while playing, it’s always using software.This is my result with the Chromium flatpak with ozone set to auto, AMD GPU.
Even though it says video decode is hardware accelerated, it doesn’t seem to be doing so according to Resources.
