I was going to add that to my argument, but i felt that it would get twisted into someone saying that gay people are pedophiles. I didn’t feel like arguing that point.

It’s just this absurd idea that any day now the masses will rise up against their oppressors and usher in a golden age of humanity. I’m all for disagreeing with with your place of work.

I personally think that pedophilia is genetic, or a chemical brain imbalance or something. There has to be something that would cause someone to do something they know that it they get caught, their life is over.

I will admit that I don’t understand the the hardline stance some people take about legal/non legal dating. There is only a years difference between a 17 year old and an 18 year old. (even less depending on date of birth. Both of them have had the same life experiences as the other. But some screech that is sexual assault of a minor.

The even weirder argument is an age difference between a “legal” 18 year old (or whatever the legal age is in your country) and someone older. I’ve seen people online try to cancel someone just because he is 5 years older.

I don’t think people realize how quietly dangerous this is for women. It robs them of their agency to make their own informed decisions. This is just as insidious as people wanting to ban abortion, just a quieter argument.

Ugh. I was looking for a Book and found it on Barnes and Noble. according to the blurb I was supposed to be able to download it after purchase. But after purchasing it I quickly found out that you can only download it if you have the Nook app. Which isn’t available in Canada. Where I’m from.

I was able to find the .apk and install it on my phone but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.
