1 year agoIt might be different once the API is finally switched off and the 3rd party apps stop working. Most of traffic comes from mobile, and the official app is crap and only optimized for ad revenue.
Reddit with ads is not much different from Facebook or TikTok for people who can read.
Are they really? Usenet is from the 70s and build for text posts, which take less than 1kb of storage per Post. Modern Sites allow you to upload gigabytes of data for a few dollars per month. The cost for storage and traffic gas come down a lot
