  • Your analysis is ridiculous, incorrect and dangerous to OP. ICE are still active and still abducting people. They kidnapped a woman in front of her children after she passed the security checkpoint in the airport just hours after being placed there the first time. Plus, like I said before, a lawyer and paperwork MIGHT get you back out of the detention center after a few weeks, IF they decide to let you out and not just say they lost you, or ignore the order anyway. Everything in between those two times is totally up to the agents in how they want to treat you. You’re an idiot and have no place offering advice to anyone considering moving to this country

  • What is your purpose here? All you’ve done is argue with people who warn you to not come to the USA. You’ve been told several times that it is not only dangerous to foreigners, but also to actual natural born citizens, the schools are currently fighting against an anti-intellectualism take over, banning subjects and books that don’t align with Christian beliefs and arresting students that say killing people is wrong. ICE is patrolling airports (where you would come into the country) and arresting anyone who is just a little too dark or just that they feel like arresting. It is not only unsafe for you to come here, it is a bad idea to come here for the academia as well.

All of this you have been ignoring and downplaying and arguing with. If you’re so sure it’s a good idea, then sure, come to the States and pray you don’t get blackbagged and never seen again. It feels like you’re not here to get honest opinions, but just to argue and ignore anything you don’t like

  • As much as I am glad No Kings had so many people attend it, and I am glad for the small good it does, it barely counts as a protest.

There are no goals, no demands, no threats. It didn’t inconvenience anyone (especially not the people in charge of the country) or cause commotion in the least. It was on a saturday with predefined start and end times.

In other words, it accomplished very little other than potentially being a networking event for like minded people. If everyone who showed up to a No Kings event actually protested, things would be changing the next fucking day
