Not to be that guy, but it’s the 20th anniversary of the game, The Movies, so yeah. Could just read the title.

That game was so silly and fun. Forgot all about it! We used to make fun little movies and overdub them using Sonar.

I’ll be 55 this week. I just keep doing what I’ve always been doing and accept that cuts and bruises take a little longer to heal. What else should I do, cover myself in bubble wrap?

This is what makes me sad every day. I’d love to be so rich money is just water out of a faucet to me, but at that point why not just do good? Like, even in a selfish way? If you’re so fucking rich that you can change the fates of nations, why not do it just out of hubris and the desire to be put in the history books? "CaptainBlinky, who was known as a relentless capitalist, died having given his 200 billion dollars in wealth before he died to solve homelessness in the nation and will be known forever as the “homemaker.” Like, why would you NOT do some sh like that? It boggles.

Not really. There’s a lot of abandonware where the IP holders still pull out the lawyers.

This actually makes a lot of sense. If none of these companies are willing to claim ownership of the IP, then “pirating” the games has no risk… since nobody is willing to claim ownership of the IP. Well played!
Also, I’m stoked to play these games! I never did when they came out but the reviews were so good I wanted to.

I can’t believe I need to ask this, but… is that an actual quote?

The bailout was the point all along.

And here we are. That didn’t take long.

So… remove the personality.

LMAO! My friend, he’s just saying it so he can get the government to buy a bunch of robots so he can meet the Tesla pay agreement requirements and become a trillionaire. There are so many reasons what your fantasy can’t and won’t happen.

don’t share files, just leech.
No, I understand words. For example, loosing means to let something free, as opposed to losing which is what you would do in an argument with me. Allow me to continue:
LOSING means 800,000 people out of work. LOOSING means letting ICE run rampant and dragging people out of their beds.
Neither of the words mean troops deployed to our cities, since they’re really just standing around doing nothing. The national guard are literally standing around, because it’s illegal for them to do anything else, and so far their commanders are following the law.
Just so we’re in the same conversation:
loosed, loosing
to let loose; free from bonds or restraint.
Synonyms: unbind, loosen
lost, losing
to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc., so that there is little or no prospect of recovery.
I DO NOT SUFFER FOOLS.
Loosing doesn’t mean what you think it means. Maybe learn words before telling the rest of us how to do things?

At the very least get a toothpick and get the lint out. Like, come on Jamal, there’s a reason your charging cable doesn’t go all the way in anymore.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but pubs have been around for literally thousands of years. Google tells me that "The oldest known pub in England is a contested title, but The Old Ferry Boat Inn in Cambridgeshire is often cited, with claims of serving drinks since (560) AD. "
I’m sure there were a lot of alcoholics to frequent the place over the past 1500 years or so, but I’m willing to bet that there were a lot of other people who just wanted a meal and a good conversation most days.

invulnerable. If you can’t hurt me you can’t stop me from making a point and swaying opinions.

I mean, people still do that.
Fair point. I think there needs to be a legal definition of IP’s that no longer have a claimant and therefore go public domain by default. If nobody can show ownership then nobody owns it.
