The only other thing I’ve found that helped was under Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Reduce Transparency, the nausea-inducing design decisions really are baffling

If you haven’t tried yet, for your iPad try going Settings -> Accessibility-> Motion, and enable Reduce Motion and Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions. Both helped me, because I hated the blur effects too.

Fairly regularly I have people think they recognize me on the street for someone else. I also know my face was scanned when I re-entered the US before. I hope the facial data in their system of me just looking like an average dude has gotten someone out of trouble. Even if it’s not with my face, I hope that’s happening.
Only a He-Man can take something that big up the butt!
People talk about opportunity being a major factor in suicides (ex: the removal of coal gas stoves from homes dropping the suicide rate), but man, I would bet my life that so is being hungry. I never want to fucking die quite so much as if I drop or ruin food right before eating it. If I was already on the edge I’m not saying I would kill myself over it, but I totally get why someone would, considering the impulsive nature of suicide.
Edit: on rereading this is kinda darker than I intended for the shitpost community, if it bothers anyone I can delete it

How many times have you stabbed yourself? Or is that a mistake you only make once?
So glad we’re out of the obligatory mustache era.

Every day I want to live more like this:

That’s why I love succulents. Thriving on neglect is what I need out of a plant.

I live a couple of blocks off a freeway exit, I’m very familiar with that. I still go walking in the rich neighborhoods, because they have nice trees and can’t stop me.

Any time spent on here is also time that can be spent on other things. The habit of scrolling isn’t something you have to be bound to.

With the exception of the stars (assuming you live somewhere with bad light pollution, which is most people), all of those things are still achievable. You can even use the internet to learn how to do them; don’t let your dreams stay dreams!

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts we’d all have a merry Christmas. We can only work in the reality we have, not the one we want. As long as voters are married to the idea that the only meaningful opposition to Republicans is the Democratic Party, then that’s what we’re stuck with.
I think it’s far more viable to introduce ranked choice voting (which would allow for electing a third party while ensuring voters aren’t ’throwing away their vote’ if the third party doesn’t win) than it would be to convince the vast majority of Democratic voters to abandon the party and vote for a party that has won no elections. Maybe that would have worked a century ago when there were more parties and people were more used to the idea of living outside a two party system.

If Sanders made a third party nobody would ever shut the fuck up about stealing votes from Democrats and putting Republicans in power forever.
So life is bad enough to need to leave to survive economically, but this isn’t them thinking life is bad there.
I’m not accepting more homework assignments and class reading than I already have, peace if you don’t want to elaborate ✌️
They defected because they don’t think life is bad in the place they were fleeing? Why are they fleeing if they don’t believe life is bad in North Korea?
Yeah, I don’t really disagree with the sentiment of the sign but you couldn’t pay me to put what is functionally a Facebook/Twitter post on my hypothetical lawn.
Piefed has scheduled posts. I haven’t used it because I have no reason to, but the functionality is there.
