Or better yet, just don’t use Adobe products. Staying in their ecosystem is how they end up getting money anyways if that’s what you know how to use.

It really makes their tests for the higher bit rate “1080p Premium” quality just seem like reducing the current 1080p and locking out the one we already had.
On the other hand though, it’s Valve so they won’t get to 3.
And then getting caught by said worms and being cocooned as you desperately try to break free.
I don’t think they’ll resort to that because that would mean getting rid of their own source of income. YouTube may not be getting ad revenue, but they still collect data and that’s where the real value is.
Something that people miss though is that they do hit some roadblocks that if not for some extremely lucky coincidences, they wouldn’t have any way to do it. Specifically for various materials that just so happen to be around them.
It’s an arms race. They block adblockers, adblockers block the anti-adblocks. It breaks for maybe like a few hours before it’s circumvented.
I’m fairly certain it’s been the same number of hoops to get there. Same with actually trying to buy it specifically.
But yeah, its so sequestered away that honestly, I’d probably just outright pirate it if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s readily available on release and I’m familiar with the methodology of it.
I believe it’s just a depiction of it. Looking around some other similar pictures, there were some images where it showed all “space debris” larger than 1cm as like a white dot. So, it’s not quite the level of fields of metal floating around out there.
Amazon’s Music service, while it takes some hoops to jump through, actually does let you download music. Though I don’t know if that’s a general policy or on a per music/per artist basis.
That’s seldom the case on sites like PornHub these days.
Governments can barely figure that out,
Governments aren’t exactly known for efficiency. A corporation is less likely to bogged down by just the mere fallacy that “other entities can’t figure it out, why should they do it?”
I don’t think that you can make a person into a pedophile, any more than you can make a person gay.
If you really think about it, we’ve seen arguments like that before. That pornography creates rapists. That violent video games creates murderers. And that’s just strictly on the consumption of media.
I’ll be honest. I do miss Reddit. I often think about going back to it. Reading this though, it reinvigorates my belief, I made the right choice and I’m never going back.
No offense, I’m sure you’re probably not lying, maybe… but uh, that post gives off such heavy copy-pasta energy that I feel like that was intentional. Was it?
That’s probably more on the carrier than Samsung themselves. I’ve genuinely never had an issue like that since switching to an unlocked device.
The mattress case, because it fully encapsulates your mattress, reduces the areas where bed bugs can hide.
I’d say it’s more the problem that if you have any system, someone will try to game the system and succeed eventually. There’s no metric for objectively good objective quality that we can measure. Most liked? Use bots or use the number of likes as a goal where you’ll do a silly thing. Most interesting? That’s completely subjective and varied, the only real way to use that would be to track the individuals and serve “things that interest them.” Best written? I don’t know enough about writing to appreciate what’s good and isn’t and most people don’t either as long as it’s good enough and appeals to them.
On the other hand though, say you’ve been writing a web novel that could be sliced up into 3 separate books or you just have 3 books that’s only now getting released. You could release them over time or you could choose to have all 3 go up at once. Not to mention as a first act of defense, it’s a reasonable action to make and is easily adjustable later on.
There’s probably other reasons why someone would release more than one book at once that’s completely understandable, especially when considering what technically counts as a “book” such as translations or a company publishing titles of multiple authors under one name,
And they’ll keep being the de-facto option if you just keep accepting that they are. In the end, Adobe software and their alternatives are often similar enough that transitioning from one to the other isn’t difficult.
