Don’t know about the other “I am the cool and security concerned type of people” but if I quit Whatsapp I will left starving for food (because I work with WhatsApp). If you made that decision aside from your job I can’t see why it should be a problem! Filter your friend and enjoy your WhatsApp-free life.

Using jerboa too, but when I search “40k” or similar terms no results show up. I’m still pretty new to the fediverse so maybe I am doing something wrong (different instance? Dunno). I’ll keep trying
