Or when they find out that their phone has like 30 other sensors used in conjunction with the GPS for tracking that can’t be “switched off”.
Or that switching off GPS is only switching off the transmission of the data, not the collection of it on the device which then stores it all to be transmitted as soon as you turn the toggle back on.

Nobody was asking what you want.
Nobody here is trying to sell you on one of these, you just jumped in to tell us how you cant fathom why someone would want one and were offered a reasonably common use case as an answer.

Hmm? There’s all sorts of mental disorders that aren’t considered “insanity” . Projecting, much?

Nobody is obligated to inject vegan philosophy into every unrelated discussion unless they have a mental disorder.

Log in every day? Many, if not most, smart thermostat apps have location based features to automatically handle the use case OP had mentioned. You can set it up one time and pretty much never need to interact with it again.

It’s the last for me! And many others as well it seems.

I feel better about that -$20 balance I had and never paid back on my (now perma’d for it) PayPal account years ago.

This might surprise you, but some people work jobs with alternating schedules.
I’d imagine it’s pretty annoying to reprogram the thermostat every other week or w/e.
Worth every drop of water
Lol you need an assistive device? Just use the palm of your hand, scrub.

Because he didn’t know da wei
They’ll certainly have a big brain when the blunt force trauma from the accident causes hemorrhaging.
Gonna need a banana for scale
“Recent reports”
It happened in 2021, figures a shitty AI would consider idiots on Facebook finding out about it and voicing their uneducated opinions, followed by a couple of obviously AI generated articles jumping in on the social media hype “reports”.
A shit post indeed…
Gonna go out on a limb and say that 9 times out of 10 if this works, turning off JS will also work.
To which I’d then suggest just getting a browser extension like uMatrix to set up whitelisting for JS since it’s a big ol’ security hole anyways. Kill two birds with one stone.
