Well, you could start by watching any other Darren Aronofsky film. They’re all amazing. It’s just that, as I mentioned before, they can be somewhat traumatic to watch. But they’re amazing.

Oh, believe me, that is something that has been on my mind recently…

In Star Trek, humanity evolved to become better because it had to learn the hard lessons of the past.

Sadly, in reality and today, I’m not so sure those “hard lessons” would lead to any betterment of humanity. World War III could end, and it would be like that alternative episode of enterprise, where is Zephryn Cochrane shot the Vulcan visitors in the face with a shot shotgun.

I’m terrified that we live in the mirror universe

Don’t thank me, thank Darren Aronofsky for making a movie that’s (like he does) completely fucking insane, but actually has a relatable sense of humor to it.

And, unlike any other Darren Aronofsky film I’ve ever seen, this movie is a lot of fun. And, of course, it takes place in New York.

Edit: I don’t know if you’re a Darren Aronofsky fan, but this immediately became my favorite Darren Aronofsky film. All of this films are amazing, but they are usually somewhat traumatic to watch. I think Requiem for a Dream or Pi or mother!. Unlike those films, this movie was actually a lot of fun.

Perhaps I’m a little biased because the main character reminded me a lot of myself…

Hell, even Star Trek’s hope for the future would do all of us a bit of good right now.
