These kinds of strikes are intended to be short term, it’s a single day strike. It’s not about stopping work until demands are met, yet. It’s about proving to those in charge that there are enough people in agreement that the next step will be much more costly if things don’t change.

Sometimes they are smart enough to get the message, other times they either think they’re smarter because they are narcissistic or inherently will win because of money.

At this level though if you actually manage to coordinate an effective strike day, what you usually end up with is hundreds or thousands of smaller organizations that can’t survive and prolonged strike siding with the strikers and getting changes made, because the cockweasels at the top still rely on the smaller companies they stepped on to get there.

Exposing? Microsoft has made it very clear for a while that your Bitlocker keys are synced to your Microsoft account.

Hell, they even have a support page for it. Most of their support pages are nearly useless, but this one is even readable by a normal person.

And before someone mentions the part about Microsoft Support not having access to keys (because some smart ass always does for this stuff)… Just think for a second. Of course customer support doesn’t have access to the keys. What Support can do is not a limit for legal disclosure. A legal warrant (like used here) means they’ll give any info they have in a heartbeat.

You can even self host it… And easily export your data from their hosted solution to your own.

There’s a reason they focus so much on removing voters from the rolls, removing voting locations, making it illegal to provide water to those waiting in line (because they only have a handful of locations after removing them all) and making it just generally harder to vote across the board.

Sorry to remind you that Republicans historically do better in the midterms because more of their voters show up regardless. That’s one of the things the racist old fucks love to do with their copious amount of free time. Watch Fox News and head on down to the voting booths.

For many, it’s likely the only thing they have to look forward to now that many of their families have abandoned them over this shit.

They have to be directly affected … they have to feel it themselves. They are incapable of feeling empathy for others, that’s why they have the perspective they have and don’t do anything about obvious issues. They don’t think they are issues because it’s affecting the others.

Nah, it’s pretty simple actually. If the archive doesn’t exist at all, they can’t even steal from it.

This is one of those situations where the venn diagram of Trump’s handlers becomes a circle.

You have the billionaire Oil executives that want to continue using all their existing infrastructure and wasy access to continue printing money like they do now. Meanwhile, those companies all see the writing on the wall and know it’s running out so they’re investing in or buying technologies and companies working on alternatives. They’re playing both sides because they’re not idiots.

And then you have the manipulators like Putin (who we know Trump idolizes) with their goals of destroying American power across the board. Having America not only abandon new technologies but even propping up the old ones past when they should be phased out to focus on century-old priorities while the rest of the world continues to move on, helps that overall goal.

I tried to find something on marketplace a month ago. Dozens of posts because it’s a super common item, all posts were a week or less old. None were legitimate. Every one was a scam, responses all leading to bullshit websites to buy, or users that never responded.

Has to get the item on Ebay instead because apparently they actually have basic scam prevention systems in place while Facebook apparently doesn’t have shit.

Sometimes those are the chains directly… More often they’re just ghost kitchens. Someone else owns the brand, and has an already established kitchen make the food for delivery apps, and they take a cut from the sale.

Many ghost kitchens aren’t even normal restaurants you would drive to, they’re just commercial kitchens in generic business space that make food for a dozen or so ghost kitchen brands.

The only tech the Kazon had, they stole. Although we didn’t know abything about that at first until we finally got introduced to the Trabe in season 2.

Once you get past the Kazon it gets more varied. The Kazon are just terrible and they drag the show down with them.

That being said, some of my personal favorite VOY episodes are in the first few seasons, they just don’t involve the Kazon.

Can’t really blame them for trying to get some of their money back.

Unadulterated technical incompetence from a tech company is par for the course these days though.
