Alternatives exist now and we have a community here that is growing. It’s a good place to be.

r/letsplay is a community for those who record gameplay with voice commentary, usually while playing the game. This content is typically uploaded to YouTube or livestreamed on Twitch.

Like most my career is soaking up the majority of my time, but I’m pursuing art and also just playing/recording more games.

Nah. I’m going to leave it to someone with more energy and time. I will contribute here in other ways, posts and comments.

They are fairly indifferent to the situation. Unfortunately the subreddit was a bit of crab pot.

Thanks for your and the other Lemmy devs work on this. These growing pains are a good thing as frustrating as it can be for users and maintainers alike. Lemmy will get bigger and this optimization treadmill is really just starting.
