Well, I just joined today, so only one. But since you can subscribe and post to communities on any other instance, I’m not sure why I would need to sign up on another unless I wanted to change. That’s what makes the fediverse amazing.

I only recently joined after hearing about lemmy. So far, I’ve been happy with sopuli.xyz alone.

Joined lemmy.world on June 12th, around July 3rd when it got overloaded I joined vlemmy.net, been happy ever since. So 2 instances. I still sometimes check lemmy.world to see if my posts/comments are posting because vlemmy is facing federation issues due to the reddit HoD.

5 - one Beehaw, but after taking me 2 weeks to be accepted, I moved on to lemmy.world and now switched to lemm.ee since lemmy.world is having some problems with the huge influx of new users. Also have another one on lemmynsfw.com for…Well… Reasons. I also have one on Kbin, altough I don’t really use it since 99% of my Lemmy/Kbin browsing in on Android and I don’t know of any KBin apps as of now, besides, I think I’ll just settle down on lemm.ee for now.

More than 10. I’m still waiting the confirmations from some of the instances.

I read some weeks ago that lemmy instances are like email providers. So I’ve taken to hear the advice that I should try different instances before settle into one. It has also been part of my lemmy leaning process. I won’t recommend it, though.

Two. One on lemmy.ml originally, and then I made a second on feddit.de because I live in Germany so I thought a German instance would be nice, and they don’t show NSFW posts which makes browsing in the office a little less awkward.

    1. Started on lemmy.ml when I didn’t know anything about lemmy. Switched to lemmy.world after getting annoyed with the tankie shit. Then switched to Midwest.social because lemmy.world was way over inundated and barely functioning.

One, since three years ago. Lemmy.ml , but due the massive exodus from reddit I’m looking for an alternative. Looking for smaller instances. Any recommendation? Any instance that speaks Spanish or mix English and Spanish?

Only one, I was tempted to sign up to another but I only just about got a nice mix of subscribed communities on this one and don’t have the patience to go through it again. I don’t really see the point, either, unless you are signing up to a second one that isn’t federated with your current one.

Also, shout out to ReddThat.com, absolutely zero glitches or issues so far except for those that seem to be fediverse wide. Good place to be with good people.

I’m on lemmy.world (which is being crushed by new users) and infosec.pub. Considering just spinning up my own server.

Two: First on world, but it was pretty laggy so I changed to lemm.ee. The entire experience is better.

      Exactly the same!

I still admire and am super thankful to @ruud for all the time, effort and money he and his friends are pouring into trying to optimize world.
