I really really don’t want this to become reddit. Yes, some dudes are gross and/or homophobic. No, not all dudes. No offense OP but can we have higher quality questions please?

Yes, some dudes are like that, unfortunately. Not the first time I’ve heard something like that. Some dudes also think that just the running water going there is enough to properly clean their ass.

The general consensus if you have such a partner is to run away. That is absolutely not okay under any circumstances. Don’t be a stinky asshole, clean your butt.

Holy crap no, OP. Normal people clean their everything. I’m sorry but your partner has issues on this.

This is absolutely true. I worked with a dude that we had to fire due to being extremely unhygienic, was asked to do something about literally smelling like shit(We worked in food, he was very, very clearly unhygenic and unsafe around the food) and he threw a fit about how wiping his ass/touching it in the shower would make him gay.

He didn’t start like that as far as I know, but after like a year of working there, so I guess he heard from someone that it was the case and took it to heart or had some kind of mental issues around that time? Idk

It’s the only guy I’ve known to do it, so it’s not a common thing at all, but they’re absolutely out there.

Everyone saying OPs partner has problems needs to chill. The post says said partner claims some men don’t clean their asshole, nowhere does it say they don’t clean their own asshole. Yes it’s true OP, but that doesn’t mean it’s common.

I feel like this has been thoroughly answered and agree with the comment about higher quality questions.
