I haven’t seen them I think. I was under the impression that it was something quite different from Lemmy, but still federated. Thx for explaining.
Hey I’m Elise! I’m a bike nomad and I’m developing a libre platform called Blossom, à la Second Life. I’m currently studying Français and I enjoy making people laugh 😜

Neverending obsession people have with sex. Yes, I get it, it’s fun, and adventurous, and all those other amazing things. Can I just enjoy the rest of my life now?
Sounds pretty low level to me. I would just deadpan drop my opinion in and let it be.
Yeah that’s right, I just use it with my friends now. Before I figured out that it was such a big deal to people I actually was considering using it for my website!
I’ve done Halloween twice and each time it was funny.
The first time I went as a zombie. I went all out with the makeup. Kids on the street would cry and run into the doorways. One guy came up to me and was seriously concerned. Then in the tram there was another zombie. We didn’t acknowledge each other but we both stood there at the doors. It was hard not to laugh.
The second time my roommates and I went as lizard people. Latex scales, green skin, lizard lenses, the whole deal. We run and scream through the city. Arrive at the party. Oh my god, nobody was dressed up!
So we spent the whole night utterly green with yellow eyes at a normal party.
Nah like it’s their pov?
Could you elaborate a bit? A book is too much for me.
Ah like centrists are evil?
Are they used as slurs against you? I’m typically called gay, pervert, n word. Just stuff that doesn’t hit the mark.
Friendly, big smiles, love to hang out, sexist, and used to corruption.
Earplugs and a Swiss pocket knife.
Uhm, well quite frankly I’m just living my life. There’s plenty of ways for others to mess it up. And people do screw with me, but I haven’t experienced identity theft yet or heard of anyone who experienced it. I’m actually more worried about a car hitting me.
As a lesbian trans person I like the words dyke and tranny, but only use it for myself. They’re funny and cute. I was honestly surprised to learn that people are so deeply against the words.
If you’re leaving what’s the issue exactly? There are countless people who are incompetent at being a proper boss or client. You can try to educate them. If they’re power tripping it’s best to find something new.
Regarding communication I think the most important skill is to actually say what you want to say. What your needs are. It sounds obvious and easy but once you consciously try it you’ll see that it takes a lot of practice.
The issue is that being indirect or expecting people to just get it just doesn’t work. There aren’t many people out there who are that sensitive and insightful, and they’ll just keep filling in the gaps with their own perspective again and again. Even when you are being direct they will, but at least it gives someone the opportunity to think about it and possibly adjust. Most people mean well.
The next generation has some poker scenes. There’s one episode where they are stuck in a simulation of a casino and can’t escape.
That I’m a gay n word. Like, I am neither so what’s up with that? He quickly biked off and I couldn’t get him to clarify.
What censorship?
